Mach Storm

Become the leader of an elite squadron of fighter pilots on a deadly mission to battle enemy forces around the world. Immersive, exciting, and unique, Mach Storm uses a special cabinet called a P.O.D. (Panoramic Optical Display) so that you forget all about the outside world and dive head-first into the gaming action. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to become flight lead of Storm Squadron, blasting through the skies in a COFFIN-equipped CFA-44 Nosferatu while battling enemies across the planet.

The P.O.D reacts to your actions in a split second, so you get ‘real-time’ gameplay that elevates this above the usual flight simulators. Fans kick in when you’re flying at high speed, so you quite literally have the ‘wind in your hair’! If you get hit, the chair will vibrate, making gameplay even more realistic and exciting.

The game is far simpler to use than your average flight simulator, with a simple flight stick for motion, and a throttle control for slowing down and speeding up. That lets you focus on blasting your enemies – before they blast you!

Choose from one of five challenging missions, engage Dogfight Mode, and start shooting down your enemies. Get good and you’ll pick up bonuses along the way, especially if you keep your ground crew happy by bringing the CFA-44 Nosferatu back undamaged. You’ll need to be agile too, because as you zoom through tight spaces you’ll encounter everything from enemy ground fire to collapsing buildings.

Survive, and you’ll enter a timed section specific to the mission you’re playing. If you destroy the target you could earn a bonus round where you get the chance to double your score. If that isn’t incentive to get down and dirty with your flight tactics, we don’t know what is!
